Knefe & Bun Heating Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C fan forced
- Remove knefe from plastic plate and place on a baking tray
- Place knefe in oven to warm for approximately 10 minutes or until cheese begins to show signs of melting
- Remove from oven and pour entire content of 1 bottle of rosewater syrup to knefe making sure to evenly coat it
- Return knefe to the oven for a further 5 minutes
- Meanwhile warm buns in the oven for 3 minutes
- Remove bun from the oven, make a small opening and remove internal dough
- Remove knefe from oven and cut to desired size (approx. 10cmx10cm)
- Drizzle sugar syrup to the bun according to taste and fill with knefe piece
- Enjoy the stretchy goodness!!
* Note: Knefe can also be enjoyed on its own without the bun
* Cooking times based on whole knefe being at room temperature.
