 Knefe & Bun Heating Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180°C fan forced 
  • Remove knefe from plastic plate and place on a baking tray
  • Place knefe in oven to warm for approximately 10 minutes or until cheese begins to show signs of melting
  • Remove from oven and pour entire content of 1 bottle of rosewater syrup to knefe making sure to evenly coat it
  • Return knefe to the oven for a further 5 minutes
  • Meanwhile warm buns in the oven for 3 minutes
  • Remove bun from the oven, make a small opening and remove internal dough 
  • Remove knefe from oven and cut to desired size (approx. 10cmx10cm)
  • Drizzle sugar syrup to the bun according to taste and fill with knefe piece
  • Enjoy the stretchy goodness!!


* Note: Knefe can also be enjoyed on its own without the bun
* Cooking times based on whole knefe being at room temperature.
